Bread of Life Pantry

The Bread of Life Pantry

Started in 2014, The Bread of Life Pantry is the oldest program of COME. Operating every 4th Sunday of the month, our pantry has a mission to “feed the hungry and clothe those in need.” We have been successfully fulfilling this mission since 2014, and every year have distributed more food, clothing, and goods than the previous year.

The Bread of Life Pantry provides not only food, but also clothing, small appliances, toys, and other household goods to various homes. We are very fortunate to be in a position to positively impact numerous lives. It is our desire that no family goes without food or the basic necessities of daily life. We continually are looking to partner with organizations that share the same passion for genuinely helping those that are in need. It warms our hearts to hear how overjoyed our patrons are when we are able to assist with relieving some of their burdens.

We give special thanks to our local sponsors who partner with us in sustaining our communities: Wal-Mart, HEB, Chick-Fil-A (through Food Donation Connection), 1.2.3. Goodies, and Killeen Auction House. We also would like to thank the local churches and other non-profit organizations that support our cause.

Even before the hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic, food insecurity and poverty were already a threat to the livelihood of many individuals all across the globe. Being on the front line and having years of experience in combating these threats is not a position that Community Outreach Ministry Efforts takes lightly, and we are sincere in our endeavor to put more goods into hands that need them.
